Praeclarus Wands

Maker of fine custom handmade wands since 2011!


This is an illustration I did for PraeclarusWands in exchange for one of their wonderful custom-made wands. Maranda was very patient with me as I worked on this for almost two and a half years, ahaha! I started on it when I was still awkward with backgrounds (back in late 2015 I think) but my 2+ year journey taught me so much about lighting and perspective (and perseverance!) so it was a big step forward for me art-wise. I'm really proud of how it turned out, and even more so honored that it'll be used on their shop website *v* <3

I'd flaunt my lovely Gina-themed wand (so much love goes into the carving and even the packaging looks super genuine!!!) but it hasn't been 'officially' released on the wandmaker's DA page so I'll wait to share my photos till then. :'D Thank you again for trading with me!!
