The Impending Adversary

Finally finished the WIP I posted a few days ago in my journal! I'd actually gotten a lot of it finished yesterday, but I needed to add a bunch of finishing touches (plus make that background look decent) so I used a bit of my free time tonight after some studying for tomorrow's class :'D A lot of stuff are off, like the proportions and awkward attempt at trying realistic highlights on the face, but HEY WHO CARES. it's actually pretty decent for a Plati who hasn't been able to do all-out digital art for more than a month 8D !!

Some of you may notice that the original sketch of this piece was from the switch-around sketch meme thing I did with my friends:
 

It's Slgi as a guardian angel, or perhaps what used to be one? No spoilers beyond this point, haha! Feel free to speculate why she's got that red gem pendant thing. Hmmm, perhaps you've seen it somewhere before? It may help to backtrack in Platina's gallery for more clues that are essential to unveiling this story shrouded in mystery.... for now. _{SMACKS MYSELF IN THE FACE stop talking in mystery RPG narration style}

On a side note, I rather like the gates. They're probably cemetery gates, but only because I used a cemetery gate photo reference to get an idea of how sunlight shines on black metal. ;7; //
